The wireless network operator found cost-effective
ways to provide services the end-user wanted at a time
no one though was possible. Now, like never
before, wireless network operators need to band together
and provide voice in Washington.
There are a lot of
changes in the mix; spectrum policy (5.4 GHz, upcoming
AWS 1.9 GHz Auction -- undecided issues concerning 3650
& 700 MHz), a brand new Board of Directors for WISP, FCC
Form 477 now a mandatory requirement for WISPs...
This
session will review recent and pending regulatory
changes affecting the broadband industry as a whole.
The independent operator's place in this market will be
addressed and suggestions for adapting to these changes
will be discussed.
Ample time will be set aside for
regulatory questions as well.
